Information about Power Tapping

Stress is caused by negative experiences and events and by physical pains (which are also explained by negative experiences and events). Stress gets stuck somewhere in your body and energy system, forming an (energy) blockage. There is always one or more negative emotions of stress underlying it, with previously formed brackets (previous conscious or unconscious negative events) playing a role that should not be underestimated.
Stress therefore leads to physical and psychological complaints and can have a (major) impact on one’s functioning in life.
To solve this, I know from experience that Power Tapping can play a very big role in this.

EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) to address the negative events in order to find your power again. Coaching to bring all your positive aspects back to the surface in order to use your power again. The power of this combination is Power Tapping, bringing you into your power. Your quality of life is increased.

In the documentary Dissolving Trauma you can watch the results of the participants.

EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) neutralizes the negative emotion and thus resolves most pains. Allowe to listen and to feel what your body actually wants to say.

EFT is based on the Chinese meridian system. This system was discovered about 5,000 years ago. The meridian system is an energy circuit that runs through the entire body. EFT restores balance by:

  1. Focusing on a specific problem and
  2. Tapping on specific meridian points on the upper body so they are activated.
EFT respects the memory and addresses the actual problem: a disturbed body-energy system. It balances the energy system. The negative emotion is replaced by an inner calmness. Tapping is like acupuncture, but without the needles. Because EFT has less emotional suffering it is relatively pain free. It allows for physical and emotional improvements. You will find inner peace and balance. Your energy starts to flow again.

You can get rid of the emotions using EFT. However, it can sometimes be quite difficult to neutralize all the emotions. Your body is so used to it and knows it like no other.

So just letting go, neutralizing and letting your energy in your body flow again, can give you anxiety. The new, the unknown gives anxiety. What is going to happen? What will my life be like? So it is easier to hold on to the old, even if that is a trauma and you consciously say you do want to resolve it.

However your system and your body resist and it doesn’t work. Not yet. Because that is where my coaching comes in to give insight into how it works.

What your system does and that it actually works against you. I let you start by being open to the new. Setting the door ajar. And neutralize the fear of the new unknown with tapping and also all the emotions that are attached to it or hidden underneath.

So your system, your body can slowly get used to it. And that it is allowed to let go. Once your old emotion may have been useful, however, not anymore. It even gets in your way.

For me, coaching is really a part of my session. Giving insight into how your body works and becoming aware of emotions. Emotions that are stuck in your body. Your body wants to be acknowledged and heard. Once you do, it definitely wants to cooperate to neutralize it. Even if that is giving you anxiety.

Coaching helps to stand in your power and walk your (new) path. It helps to maintain the balance between ratio or the thinking, and the feeling or the body.

Power Tapping begins by looking at a specific situation, event or physical pain. Then we work with the emotions triggered by those and tap (EFT) to neutralize them. We tap on acupuncture points on the upper body and I teach you during a session how to do it yourself. EFT is most effective when the emotional underlying factors are looked at and thus the physical complaint is addressed right away.
However, it is also possible to address only a physical pain and get relief from the pain. It remains yet more effective and gives long-lasting results when you also address the underlying factors.

EFT can neutralize all negative emotions, for example: feelings of fear, panic, anger, sadness, guilt and helplessness. These emotions and feelings can be underlying (negative) events and experiences, for example, seeing an accident.

With Power Tapping (EFT and Coaching) you can address at least the following conditions:

Overview Tapping EFT points

Tapping EFT points

EFT is easy for you to learn and apply. One tip: when you’re working on improving your situation, whatever the pain may be, take a simple aspect such as a clear physical pain (sore shoulder) or a single negative emotion (fear of getting ill). A complaint due to PTSD or a burnout, or a trauma for example like a car accident, is in my opinion not simple. There can be emotions lying underneath. My advice to work together here in my office or using Zoom.

Please take note of the following:

  1. Physical pain: while tapping, this pain can move in your body. It can also become another kind of pain, which is absolutely fine. Follow your pain and name the pain for what it is.
  2. Negative emotion: emotions such as anger, sadness or fear. Where in your body do you feel this emotion? And what kind of feeling is it? Be as specific as possible.
